Over a lifetime, most people live a number of places before they’re old. So too with relationships—the great ones become home, even if only for a short while. But most relationships turn out to be a lot like train stations or airports where we spend a good deal of time waiting for our ‘flight.’ Granted, some airports are fascinating places with really good restaurants, interesting shops and sometimes even fascinating, romantic chance encounters. But let’s face it, you wouldn’t want to live there and you’d certainly never call one home.
